Honda has recently launched the 2023 Hornet 2.0 in India, offering customers a single variant and four different color options. Priced at Rs 1.39 lakh ex-showroom, this new model comes with cosmetic updates and is also BSVI OBD2 compliant.

When it comes to design, the new Hornet retains its muscular appearance, featuring a headlight assembly and X-shaped tail lamp. However, it now boasts new graphics that enhance its sportiness. The short exhaust and split seats further contribute to the overall sporty appeal of the Hornet.

Powering the 2023 Hornet 2.0 is a 184.4cc single-cylinder engine, capable of producing 17bhp and 16Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox and a slip and assist clutch. Honda claims a mileage of 40kmpl for the new Hornet 2.0.

In terms of equipment, the Hornet 2.0 comes equipped with USD front forks, a monoshock at the rear, alloy wheels, disc brakes at both ends with a single-channel ABS, and a fully digital instrument cluster with adjustable brightness. The motorcycle is fitted with 110 front and 140-section rear tyres.

Competing in the same category, the Honda Hornet 2.0 faces rivals such as the TVS Apache RTR 180, which serves as its direct competition.
