Electric Nissan Juke: A Sneak Peek at the Future

Since its launch in 2010, the Nissan Juke has been a defining model in the crossover SUV segment. Combining a small footprint with bold styling, it has garnered popularity among consumers. However, as Nissan looks towards an all-electric future in 2030, the current Juke will soon be replaced by a pure electric model, joining the electric Leaf and Ariya SUV in the lineup.

Our exclusive renders provide a glimpse of what the new Juke could look like when it arrives in the near future. Drawing inspiration from Nissan's Hyper Punk concept car, which was revealed earlier this year at the Tokyo Motor Show, the new Juke is expected to feature sharp edges and geometric detailing. While some futuristic elements from the concept may not make it to production, there are several design elements that we anticipate will be incorporated into the new Juke.

The Hyper Punk concept's illuminating wheels and origami-esque bodywork may not be practical for everyday use, but the overall styling and design language are likely to influence the new Juke. The curvaceous body lines of the current model are expected to be replaced by the sharp edges and geometric detailing seen on the concept. Additionally, dark wheel arch extensions and short front and rear overhangs will help to emphasize the Juke's squat stance, while still maintaining a smaller footprint compared to the Ariya SUV.

With Nissan's commitment to an all-electric future, the new Juke will be a significant addition to their electric vehicle lineup. It is expected to offer more interior space than the current Juke, thanks to the packaging advantages of electric powertrains. Additionally, the new Juke will share EV technology with the upcoming Renault 5, further highlighting Nissan's collaboration with Renault in the electric vehicle segment.

As we eagerly await the arrival of the new Juke, it is clear that Nissan is pushing boundaries and embracing the electric revolution. The new Juke's design, influenced by the Hyper Punk concept, promises to be a refreshing and exciting addition to the crossover SUV market.
