Aston Martin Vantage GT3 spotted in green camouflage during testing
【Summary】Aston Martin has been testing the updated Vantage GT3, set to debut in 2024. The car features a camo wrap and slight design changes to comply with new LMGT3 rules. It is currently in its final testing phase before competing in the 2024 WEC opener and Pikes Peak.
Aston Martin has been making headlines with its plans for the Valkyrie at Le Mans in 2025, but the refreshed GT3 and GT4 programme shouldn't be overlooked. Recently, images of the updated Vantage GT3 testing at Silverstone have surfaced, showcasing a bold camo wrap and unique headlight motifs.
While the exterior changes may not be drastic, there are noticeable enhancements in cooling at the rear wheel arches. These updates are necessary to comply with the new LMGT3 rules that will replace the GTE class in the World Endurance Championship and Le Mans next season.
The GT3 is currently in its final testing phase and is set to compete against C8.Rs, RSR-19s, and 488 GTE Evos in the 2024 WEC opener. After that, it will make its way to the iconic Pikes Peak.
