Bugatti Chiron's Special Edition Honors Brand's Legacy

The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport Golden Era has been unveiled as a unique tribute to the brand's rich history. This special edition was designed to honor Bugatti's iconic W16 engine and the legendary models that have solidified its status as a leading luxury brand.

One of Bugatti's "very important" customers had specific requests for this one-off creation. The car is adorned with a meticulously hand-drawn mural showcasing 45 historic Bugatti models. The process of creating this artwork took over 400 hours, which Bugatti described as "extremely intimidating".

The ink used for the mural was developed for durability, ensuring that it will last the lifetime of the car. The passenger door features 26 cars, including the renowned Type 41 Royale and the Type 57 SC Atlantic, which was a personal favorite of Bugatti's former design director, Achim Anscheidt.

On the driver's side, the car showcases sketches of Bugatti's more recent models, including the EB110, Veyron, and the Chiron itself. Additionally, as a tribute to Bugatti's 16-cylinder engine, the doors display sketches of the 3712 components that make up the powerful unit.

The entire car is finished in a striking two-tone color scheme, with Doré gold and Nocturne black complementing each other. This combination adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to the already stunning design.

Achim Anscheidt, who recently retired as Bugatti's chief designer, expressed his pride in assisting customers in bringing their creative visions to life. He also noted that extensive special commissions like this are incredibly rare, with only one or two creations of this magnitude typically seen each year.
