Chandrayaan-3: Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition

While the world is captivated by the Chandrayaan-3 moon landing, Ultraviolette, an Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer, has unveiled the F77 Space Edition. This limited edition bike, with only 10 units available, incorporates aerospace technology similar to the Chandrayaan-3 module that is currently on its way to the moon. The F77 Space Edition features a striking Cosmic White color scheme, sporty and aggressive styling, and graphics inspired by the Indian Space Agency's moon lander.

Although the bike's performance may not be groundbreaking, with approximately 40bhp, 100Nm of torque, and a range of just over 300km (186 miles), it is comparable to bikes like the recently announced 2024 KTM 390 Duke, making it suitable for newer riders. The F77 Space Edition is equipped with fast-charging capabilities and boasts a five-inch TFT display, multiple ride modes, Wi-Fi connectivity, smartphone pairing, and navigation as standard features. While not powerful enough for a space mission, the F77 is India's first true electric performance bike and certainly has an appealing design.

However, the F77 Space Edition comes with a higher price tag compared to the standard F77 models, costing around £5,365, which is approximately £2,000 more for the Space Edition.

In breaking news, the Chandrayaan-3 has successfully landed on the moon! After Russia's recent failed attempt to land on our closest celestial neighbor, the Indian Chandrayaan-3 craft has achieved a soft touchdown on the lunar surface. This milestone allows the spacecraft to commence its mission of searching for water and other important discoveries.
