A potential release candidate for the Tesla Cybertruck was recently spotted on the side of a road in California after experiencing engine issues. The stranded truck was covered and left at the roadside near Los Altos Hills, where a curious onlooker managed to capture some spy shots of the vehicle, including images of its suspension.

Photos of the abandoned Cybertruck have been circulating online, revealing a reflective sheet covering the vehicle. However, it is also evident that the truck features a familiar camouflage pattern, leading to speculation that it could be a release candidate or possibly a prototype that has undergone terrain testing in other locations. Notably, the images showcase a series of holes on the bottom of the Cybertruck, which could potentially be for a truck reversing speaker.

In a separate report, additional shots of the Cybertruck's suspension were shared, accompanied by insights from a former suspension engineer. According to the expert, the rear lower A-arm of the Cybertruck is composed of two welded steel pieces, distinct from the casting at the front. Additionally, there appears to be an actuator that enables dynamic damping modification. Overall, the comments regarding the Cybertruck's suspension are mostly positive, highlighting its simplicity and robustness, with the caveat that it may still be a prototype system.
