Neighbour's Porsche damaged in revenge for driving through garden

A social media user has gained praise for taking revenge on his entitled neighbor who would drive through his garden to park his cars. The neighbor, named Richard, used to park his Porsche in the backyard and would drive beyond the separation line of the two houses to do so.

However, the frustrated next-door neighbor decided to take action to prevent Richard from continuing this inconsiderate behavior. Sharing the story on Reddit, the user @LnGass explained that his parents had lived in the same house for 50 years and had three neighbors on the north side during that time.

One of those neighbors was a hermit named Elenore, who passed away when the Reddit user was in high school. After a few years, Richard bought the property and became their new neighbor.

According to the Reddit user, one day he came home to find Richard cutting down the bushes on his property. The user and his dad confronted Richard, informing him that those bushes belonged to them and expressing their dissatisfaction with his actions.

Richard, however, didn't care and insisted that he needed to cut down the bushes in order to park his cars in the backyard. The user's dad suggested that Richard could use the curb cut out on the other side of his house, which would provide straight access to the backyard as intended by the original builder.

But Richard refused to consider this logical solution and stormed off. The next day, the bush had disappeared, and Richard began driving his cars through the user's property and into the backyard for the night.

Fed up with Richard's behavior, the neighbors decided to install a metal fence to clearly mark the property line and prevent Richard from damaging their lawn. They placed the metal fence posts 5 inches on their side of the property line, leaving very little room for Richard to maneuver his cars past them.

When Richard returned home and saw the new fence, he became furious and could be heard cursing and yelling for hours. He managed to get one of his cars out, but not without causing serious damage to the side of the car.

Unfortunately for Richard, his abrupt response not only damaged his car but also caused the newly installed fence to lean toward the neighbor's property. The neighbors called the police and informed them about the damage, resulting in Richard receiving a ticket for damaging their property.

Users on Reddit praised the courageous neighbors for standing up to Richard's unacceptable behavior. Some even suggested that the neighbors should have sued over the bushes, referring to the "tree law" crowd, while others shared their negative experiences with people named Richard.
