Renamed former Russian Continental plant
【Summary】The former Continental Russia plant in Kaluga has been renamed Cordiant Kaluga after being acquired by S8 Capital. The company will now focus on tyre production at the facility.
Following the acquisition of Continental AG's assets in Russia by holding company S8 Capital, the tyre manufacturing facility, LLC Continental Kaluga, has undergone a name change. The facility is now known as LLC Cordiant Kaluga. This change in legal name became effective on August 17, 2023. LLC Cordiant Kaluga will primarily focus on tyre production at the former Continental plant located in Kaluga, which is situated approximately 100 miles southwest of Moscow.
