Renault Group and Volvo Group have announced a new partnership to develop electric vans. This partnership will also include CMA CGM and will focus on building vehicles on a new fully-electric LCV skateboard platform. The platform is designed to offer modularity to support different vehicle body types.

The partnership plans to design the new vehicles around software that will provide unprecedented capability for monitoring delivery activities. Renault Group CEO Luca de Meo expressed excitement about leading the transformation in the LCV market through electrification and digitalization.
