Skoda Enyaq Coupe vRS 2023 extended trial
【Summary】The Skoda Enyaq Coupe vRS 2023 long-term test aimed to determine if the vRS badge could make an electric car exciting. However, it was found that the sporty performance badge did not make the Enyaq vRS particularly exciting. Despite this, the car was still regarded as a great electric vehicle, offering practicality and performance. The Enyaq Coupe's visual appeal was also highlighted, resembling a slightly oversized saloon.
When Autocar adds a car to its long-term test fleet, they provide a mini mission statement to guide their reports. For the Skoda Enyaq vRS, the goal was to determine if the vRS badge could make an electric car exciting. Unfortunately, the answer is no. Adding sporty features and styling to the Enyaq iV does not result in the same practicality, performance, and fun that Skoda's vRS line is known for.
However, despite not meeting the expectations of a great performance EV, the Skoda Enyaq vRS is still a great EV. It may not have the same level of excitement, but it offers everything you would want from a family crossover, whether it's electric or not.
Visually, the Enyaq Coupé stands out with its distinct appearance. It resembles a slightly oversized saloon, setting it apart from its SUV sibling.
