Tesla's executive announces limited delivery of 10 Cybertrucks

Tesla is set to deliver only 10 Cybertrucks at its upcoming delivery event, as confirmed by a company executive. After years of anticipation and some delays, the electric automaker will finally unveil the Cybertruck on November 30th.

Speculations have been circulating that Tesla would initially deliver the electric pickup truck to employees and insiders, considering that the company has not yet announced the vehicle's specifications and pricing for the production version.

The number of Cybertrucks Tesla planned to deliver at the event was never made clear. Some were hopeful that the automaker would deliver a large quantity, given the sightings of numerous Cybertrucks being produced at Gigafactory Texas in recent months.

However, CEO Elon Musk has cautioned against having high expectations for Cybertruck production. Now, another Tesla executive, Javier Verdura, the product design director, has provided further insight into the Cybertruck launch.

Speaking at a conference in Monterrey, Mexico, Verdura revealed that they would be delivering the first 10 Cybertrucks at the event. While this number may seem low, it aligns with Tesla's past vehicle programs, where production launches typically start with a limited quantity.

It is expected that Tesla will gradually increase production from this point onwards. Musk has previously stated that it would take the company approximately 18 months to reach a production volume of 5,000 Cybertrucks per week, setting the goal for 2025.
