2023 Honda Hornet 2.0 price revealed

Honda has recently launched the 2023 Hornet 2.0 in India, offering customers a single variant and four different color options. The ex-showroom price for the new Hornet is Rs 1.39 lakh. This updated version of the Hornet features cosmetic enhancements and is also BSVI OBD2 compliant. The available color options for the Honda Hornet 2.0 include Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.

Despite the updates, the new Hornet retains its muscular design, including the headlight assembly and the X-shaped tail lamp. However, it now boasts new graphics that enhance its sportiness. Additionally, the short exhaust and split seats contribute to the overall sporty appearance of the Hornet.

The 2023 Hornet 2.0 is equipped with a 184.4cc single-cylinder engine that generates 17bhp and 16Nm of torque. It comes with a 5-speed gearbox and a slip and assist clutch. Honda claims that the new Hornet 2.0 offers a mileage of 40kmpl.

In terms of equipment, the Hornet 2.0 features USD front forks, a monoshock at the rear, alloy wheels, disc brakes at both ends with a single-channel ABS, and a fully digital instrument cluster with adjustable brightness. The motorcycle is equipped with 110 front and 140-section rear tyres.

Directly competing with the Honda Hornet 2.0 in its category is the TVS Apache RTR 180.
