2024 Lexus IS: Increased Prices and Fresh Design Options

Lexus is introducing more design packages for the 2024 IS range, accompanied by price increases ranging from $650 to $1,750. While the IS 300, 350, and 500 models remain largely unchanged, the addition of new design options may attract buyers, albeit at a higher cost.

The IS range begins with the IS 300, which retains its familiar 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 241 hp for RWD models and 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 260 hp for the AWD model. The starting price for the IS 300 in 2024 is $41,235, representing a modest increase of $650.

Notably, the IS 300 now offers the F Sport Design grade for both RWD and AWD models. This includes features like 19-inch F Sport alloy wheels and F Sport Design badging, with a price of $43,235.

For buyers seeking style both inside and out, the IS 300 F Sport is an option. It features the same exterior styling as the F Sport Design, along with heated/ventilated front seats, aluminum pedals, and a heated steering wheel. The starting price for this model is $44,905.

Moving up the range, the IS 350 is equipped with the same 3.5-liter V6 engine, delivering 311 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque for both RWD and AWD models. The IS 350 now offers a new Blackout Package for the F Sport trim, which includes 19-inch matte black BBS forged alloy wheels, black side mirrors with dark chrome trim, dark chrome window trim, and seat position memory. The starting price for the IS 350 is $44,410, an increase of $750 compared to the previous model year.

The IS 500 experiences the largest price increase, starting at $60,020, which is $1,750 more than last year. It is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine generating 472 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque. The 2024 model receives standard black side mirrors with dark chrome trim and offers the Incognito paint color as an option.

The top model, the IS 500 F Sport Performance Premium, will be available with the Special Appearance Package, which includes Blue Vector paint, 19-inch matte black BBS forged alloy wheels, and blue stitching throughout the cabin. Only 150 examples of this package will be offered in the U.S.

All models in the IS range will be available in various colors such as Ultra White, Eminent White Pearl, Cloudburst Gray, Iridium, Incognito, Caviar, Matador Red Mica, Infrared, Grecian Water, and Ultrasonic Blue Mica. The 2024 models are expected to be available for sale in the fall.
