2024 Skoda Kodiaq PHEV receives updated look

The Skoda Kodiaq is set to receive a refresh in its exterior styling for its second generation. Ahead of the full reveal on 4 October, the Czech firm has released sketches showcasing the redesigned look of the crossover.

As Skoda's third best-selling model last year, the Kodiaq will feature a sharper front end with the brand's signature black grille and more robust, squared-off wheel arches. LED headlights will also be incorporated into the front design.

The rear of the 2024 Kodiaq will receive a new bumper and light design, with the Skoda name prominently displayed on the back of the car. Wheel options will range in size from 17 to 18 inches, according to Skoda.

Skoda describes the Kodiaq as having a "modern and dynamic" appearance, incorporating elements of the brand's 'modern solid' design ethos.

While the exterior updates are notable, it is the interior that has generated significant attention. Skoda released new images in August that revealed the Kodiaq will retain physical dial controls for essential functions.

The three dials, positioned between the centre console and the dashboard, can be customized to adjust various functions. Official images demonstrate the system being used to manage climate settings for the front occupants, with stereo volume control in the middle.

According to user preference, the dials on either side of the front occupants can control cabin temperature, seat heating, or seat ventilation. The central controller can adjust fan speed, air direction, sound system volume, chosen driving mode, or the zoom level of the sat-nav map.
