Aluminum Car's 2,500-Hour Journey to Completion
【Summary】Runge Cars has created a hand-made aluminum car, the Runge RS, with a design inspired by late '50s race cars. It took 2,500 hours to build and features a shiny Dodge Viper-like body. The car has a smaller, tamer size and resembles the classic Porsche 718 race car.
Runge Cars is a company known for their exceptional products, and the Runge RS is no exception. Unlike the powerful American muscle cars we often see, the Runge RS is a smaller and more subdued car. One of its standout features is the all-aluminum handmade body, reminiscent of the shiny Dodge Viper, which is also crafted by the company's owner, Chris Runge.
The Runge RS is built on a tube frame chassis with a wheelbase of 83 inches. The goal of this car is to capture the design of late '50s race cars. Chris dedicated an impressive 2,500 hours of work into its construction, resulting in a stunning sports car that turns heads. Its silhouette is reminiscent of the classic Porsche 718 race car, which made its debut at the 1957 24 Hours of Le Mans.
