Bentley's Tiny Adventure
【Summary】Bentley introduces a new tricycle for children, inspired by its luxury cars. Priced at $750 in the UK, the tricycle features air-pumped wheels, metal pedals, and a safety seat with soft inserts. It can also convert into a stroller. No information on availability in the US.
There is a new Bentley in the works that is quite different from the typical luxury car. This Bentley has no motor, no transmission, no touchscreen, and no windscreen. In fact, it is a convertible of sorts, and its speed depends on the age of the driver. It is designed for children around five years old.
Considering it is a Bentley, the price of the Mulliner Tricycle in the UK is quite a bargain, at about $750. In comparison, a Big Wheel "Rally Racer" edition at Walmart costs only $112. However, the Bentley tricycle comes with luxurious features such as leather seats, a plush handle bag, a sun canopy, and a Bentley-badged seat-belt buckle.
The inspiration for this tricycle comes from Bentley's Mulliner bespoke division, which allows buyers to customize their Bentley cars with extravagant options like gold organ-stop buttons and "pinstripe" wood veneers. While the tricycle may not have these options, it does have air-pumped wheels, anti-slide metal pedals, and a safety seat with soft inserts that provide extra comfort for children. It is designed for kids as young as six months and can be converted into a stroller with the seat facing the adult driver.
There is no information yet on when this tricycle will be available in the United States.
