Boost car sales with enhanced data, connectivity, and understanding
【Summary】Autofinity's ViHUB platform offers a single inventory management solution for franchised retailers to better manage and sell used cars. By integrating with data providers and OEMs, ViHUB provides accurate and detailed content that can be fed to various online marketing channels. This ensures pricing and specification consistency, improves vehicle matching, and reduces time spent in stock.
The process of sourcing, stocking, and selling used cars for franchised retailers has become more complex in recent years. In order to be successful, retailers must closely match cars to buyers, minimize the time cars spend in stock, and stay ahead of changing market conditions.
Having complete oversight of a vehicle from its source to its sale is crucial for ensuring a fast and efficient route to market. This also allows any issues, such as delays in preparation or lack of imagery, to be identified and addressed immediately.
A single inventory management solution that provides accurate and detailed vehicle data can help avoid pricing and specification inconsistencies. This enables retailers to better match vehicles to the right buyers at the right time.
Many retailers are turning to Autofinity's ViHUB, which offers complete oversight of group stock, including pipeline and demos. ViHUB also consolidates all of a vehicle's data in one place, creating a "single view of the truth."
"ViHUB is a platform that integrates with dealership management systems and vehicle data providers, such as Cap HPI and OEMs," explained Autofinity CEO Andy Whitehair. "It provides a centralized content pool that feeds all online marketing channels. Any discrepancies or issues that don't meet dealer criteria are flagged, allowing for quick rectification before a vehicle is listed for sale."
As soon as a vehicle is purchased by a group, it can be uploaded onto ViHUB, regardless of the source (e.g. part-exchange, auction, or platforms like carwow). ViHUB then feeds all websites, including the dealer's own website, the OEM website, and platforms like Auto Trader, with its vast data pool collected from multiple sources.
This ensures that stock can be better matched to potential buyers during online searches, resulting in increased conversion rates and reduced time spent in stock.
"If the vehicle data, including price, description, and specification, is not accurate and easily accessible, the entire process of sourcing and selling used cars is hindered," added Whitehair. "A comprehensive overview and full control of used car inventory, from sourcing to pre-delivery inspection and onto the forecourt, is crucial for speed, efficiency, and effective online marketing."
Autofinity is sponsoring the used car stocking panel discussion at this year's AM Live on November 9th. CEO Andy Whitehair will be participating in a Q&A session. Autofinity will also be offering a 3-month free trial of ViHUB at their stand, giving retailers insight into advertising and stock performance.
