Citroën announces pricing for updated lineup

Citroën UK has announced the pricing for its updated model range, introducing new trim levels named YOU!, PLUS, and MAX. This move is aimed at creating a more balanced pricing policy. The three new trim levels, YOU!, are available on all Citroën passenger cars, except for ë-Berlingo and ë-SpaceTourer. The car maker stated that this redefinition has resulted in a more concise range, making it easier for customers to understand the various specifications and options available.

For example, the entry-level YOU! trim is available for the C4 and C4 X models, starting from £19,495 OTR for both models. This trim provides standard equipment such as Advanced Comfort Suspension, Advanced Comfort Seats, and a 10-inch touchscreen offering DAB digital radio, Bluetooth® connectivity, and wireless smartphone mirroring using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The YOU! trim level also offers safety systems like Active Safety Brake and Lane Departure Warning, as well as driving assistance systems including cruise control, Speed Sign Recognition and Recommendation, and rear parking sensors.

The PLUS trim features a rear-view camera and connected navigation. The C4 and C4 X models are available in PLUS trim from £23,530 and £24,935, respectively, and include natural voice recognition, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, a 10-inch touchscreen, and Citroën's Connect Box Emergency & Assistance system. In PLUS trim, C4 and C4 X drivers also have a one-year trial subscription to Citroën Connect PLUS services, which includes real-time traffic and speed camera alerts.

The MAX trim level offers an upgrade with keyless access and adaptive cruise control for automatic and electric versions. The C4 and C4 X MAX models are available from £25,420 and £26,820, respectively. The MAX trim is further enhanced by dark-tinted rear windows and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Additionally, specific additional collections will continue to be offered, such as the electrified ‘ë-Series' collection for ë-C4 and ë-C4 X, which was launched in June. The ë-Series trim starts at £36,295 for both models and offers even more features and enhanced levels of style and technology, including a bi-tone roof, a heated steering wheel, wireless induction smartphone charging, heated front seats, and an upgraded Citroën HiFi system. The ë-Series versions also come with Citroën's Dark Chrome Colour Pack, applied to the front bumper inserts and the Airbump panels.

Citroën stated that the redesigned product range aims to improve the purchasing experience for its customers while reducing costs and delivery times. The company has also made its website more navigable and functional, and enhanced stock management, production, and cost controls. These improvements are a result of the rationalization of Citroën's manufacturing processes, ensuring fair pricing and shorter delivery times.
