Dodge Magnum SRT-8 Up for Auction

The Dodge Magnum, a station wagon based on the Chrysler LX platform, was introduced in 2005. It shared many similarities with the four-door Charger and 300 models of that era. The Magnum offered various engine options and rear-wheel drive, with certain configurations also offering all-wheel drive. In 2006, Dodge expanded the lineup with the high-performance SRT-8 version.

The Dodge Magnum SRT-8 featured distinctive front and rear fascias, larger Brembo brakes, a firmer suspension, and a powerful 6.1-liter V8 engine producing 425 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. It had a five-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in under 5 seconds. The quarter-mile sprint took around 13 seconds to complete.

The Dodge Magnum SRT-8 is a rare find in the market, often quickly changing hands when available. A 2008 model will be auctioned at the Mecum auction in Glendale, Arizona, between March 5 and 9, 2024. The vehicle is presented with a red exterior and gray interior, representing the hot SRT-8 specification. Unfortunately, only one image of the car is currently available, leaving details such as mileage undisclosed.

If you've always wanted a Dodge Magnum SRT-8, this might be your chance to own one. The auction will determine its final price, so the question remains: how much would you be willing to pay for this desirable car? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
