Peter Stern, who previously served as Apple's vice president of services, brings a wealth of experience to his new role at Ford. During his time at Apple, Stern was responsible for overseeing various businesses, including Apple TV plus, iCloud storage, Apple Books, and the arcade and fitness operations. His expertise in these areas will be invaluable as Ford aims to enhance its software offerings.
Starting on Monday, Stern will report directly to Ford CEO Jim Farley. In addition to leading Ford Integrated Services, Stern will also play a crucial role in expanding Ford's BlueCruise hands-free partially automated driving system.
