Four Honda riders participated in a full-day official test session at Misano, where they had the opportunity to test Honda's MotoGP machine and gather valuable information for its development. Marc Marquez completed 63 laps and achieved a best time of 1m31.575s, placing him 14th on the timesheets, almost a second behind the fastest rider, Luca Marini.

The focus of the test was not on setting fast lap times, but rather on understanding the bike's performance and providing feedback to the engineers. In the post-test press conference, Marquez addressed the rumors about his potential departure from Honda, stating that the problems with the bike remain the same and that there is still much work to be done.

Joan Mir, another Honda rider, completed 72 laps and recorded a best time of 1m31.687, placing him 16th overall. Mir also worked on exploring options for the remainder of the season, in addition to gathering data for future development.

Takaaki Nakagami, the fastest Honda rider, completed 40 laps and expressed his confidence in HRC's commitment to finding solutions to the current challenges. He also mentioned that the prototype for the 2024 season showed potential, although it is still in the development stage.

The Misano MotoGP test times showed Luca Marini as the fastest rider, followed by Maverick Viñales and Brad Binder.
