Inspired by the interplay between natural landscapes and contemporary architecture, the EV5 stands as a distinct model in its own right, although it bears similarities to the Sportage in terms of size. One of the standout features of the EV5 is its striking LED lighting, which wraps around the upright front fascia and extends below the hood. A departure from traditional grilles, the EV5 showcases Kia's digital 'Tiger Face'. Additionally, the EV5 boasts three-dimensional Signature Star Map Lighting, which draws inspiration from star-studded constellations. The flush-fitting door handles and rising beltline from the C-pillar are reminiscent of the EV9, while wide shoulder lines, powerful fenders, and pushed-back D-pillars contribute to its overall aesthetic.

Moving to the rear of the vehicle, the taillights of the EV5 stretch almost entirely across the body, in contrast to the EV9 where they are positioned higher up alongside the back window. The EV5 also features a lowered spoiler and a skid plate positioned lower down. In terms of color options, buyers will have a choice of nine glossy colors and one matte shade to suit their preferences.
