Liberty Walk's Ford Bronco Widebody: Narrower than a Raptor

Japanese widebody kit maker Liberty Walk is well-known for its bolted-on widebody kits for modified street Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and Nissan GT-Rs. However, they have now ventured into the truck market with a widebody kit for the modern Ford Bronco. This unexpected move has surprised many, considering that trucks have their own history of bolted-on overfenders. Nevertheless, Liberty Walk's widebody kit for the Bronco is available for purchase and has received positive feedback.

The concept of overfenders has been controversial and has evolved alongside widebody kits over the years. Initially, widebodies were influenced by the fender flares of race cars in the '70s and '80s. Then, they embraced the fiberglass bling trend in the '90s and '00s. Finally, we arrived at the overfender mania of today. Throughout each era, there have been exceptional widebody kits, often inspired by racing and performance rather than aesthetics. However, the primary purpose of widebodies has always been to enhance the vehicle's style.

When it comes to the Bronco, Liberty Walk's fender kit surprisingly complements the vehicle's rugged and industrial design. Perhaps we will soon start seeing these kits on Bronco models hitting the trails in the United States.
