Liberty Walk's Ford Bronco Widebody: Narrower than a Raptor

Japanese widebody kit maker Liberty Walk is well-known for creating bolted-on widebody kits for modified street Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and Nissan GT-Rs. However, trucks have not been a focus for Liberty Walk, despite trucks having a history of bolted-on overfenders. Surprisingly, Liberty Walk has now released a widebody kit for the modern Ford Bronco, which is available for purchase.

The concept of overfenders has long been controversial and has evolved alongside widebody kits. Initially, widebodies were inspired by the fender flares of race cars in the '70s and '80s, followed by the fiberglass trend in the '90s and '00s, and now the overfender mania of the present day. Throughout each era, there have been impressive widebody kits, often influenced by racing and performance rather than aesthetics. However, the main purpose of widebodies has always been to enhance style.

When it comes to the Liberty Walk widebody kit for the Bronco, it surprisingly complements the vehicle's rugged and industrial design. While the exposed rivets and sinuous shapes of the Liberty Walk kit may seem out of place on a Lamborghini Aventador or Ferrari F40, they actually work well on the Bronco. In fact, the kit blends so seamlessly with the Bronco that it could be mistaken for a factory design.

Compared to Liberty Walk's other kits, the one for the Bronco is less extreme but has the potential to appeal to a wider audience. For a price of $3,080, Bronco owners have the option to enhance the visual toughness of their vehicles with this high-quality fender kit. Perhaps we will soon start seeing these kits on Bronco rigs in the United States.
