Toyota is the leading auto brand in the United States, having sold nearly two million vehicles in 2022. While their crossover and passenger car models like the RAV4, Camry, and Corolla were the top sellers, Toyota also saw strong sales in the truck and SUV categories with the Tacoma and Highlander, selling over 200,000 units of each domestically last year.

However, the full-sized Sequoia SUV was not as popular, only selling a little over 5,000 units in 2022. This could be attributed to its estimated fuel economy of 20 MPG and a base price of nearly $60,000. Despite its lower sales figures, Toyota offers a luxury trim version of the Sequoia called the "Capstone" edition.

The Capstone edition comes with additional luxury features and technological options, making the already sizable SUV more comfortable and enjoyable for both the driver and passengers. These extra features come at a price, with the base price of the Capstone edition reaching almost $80,000. Furthermore, if you opt for the available air suspension package, the cost will exceed that threshold due to all the added features included in this trim.
