Maeving RM1S Speeds Towards Completion

Maeving is preparing to launch a new and improved version of its RM1 electric motorcycle, known as the RM1S. The announcement was made through a message sent to existing customers, informing them of the upcoming release.

The message, sent on the morning of August 22, 2023, revealed that the RM1S will have a top speed of 65mph, which is 20mph faster than the standard model. It described the RM1S as the fastest and most powerful electric motorcycle offered by Maeving.

Customers who had previously expressed interest in a faster model were given priority access to the pre-order page. Unfortunately, those who did not receive the message will have to wait a bit longer.

The original Maeving RM1 was launched last year as the first model from the Coventry-based manufacturer. It was designed with a retro-styled look, aiming to evoke nostalgia for the motorcycle manufacturing heritage of the English Midlands, particularly Coventry.

While the top speed of the RM1S has been revealed, other details about the new model remain a mystery. It is expected that the increased top speed will require more power and possibly more torque from the motor. However, it is unclear if the RM1S will be lighter than the standard version or if there will be any changes to its chassis specifications.

Speculation suggests that there may also be visual changes, potentially giving the RM1S a more sporty appearance. However, at this point, any information beyond the top speed is purely speculative.

For more information about the standard RM1, you can visit the Maeving website. Additionally, you can read a review of the Maeving RM1 (2022) Electric Motorcycle, which explores the potential of this futuristic vehicle.
