Man's Death During Construction at Everton Stadium Sparks Tributes

The family also extended their thanks to the NHS staff and Michael's work colleagues who did their best to help him. They emphasized that Michael will be greatly missed.
The Merseyside Police, in collaboration with the Health and Safety Executive, are conducting joint investigations into the incident. The authorities have stated that enquiries are still ongoing.
A post-mortem examination to determine the cause of Michael's death was scheduled to take place on Wednesday.

A spokesman for the stadium contractor, Laing O'Rourke, confirmed that the incident involved a member of their team who was working for one of their sub-contractors. The injured individual was taken to the hospital by ambulance but sadly passed away. Laing O'Rourke expressed shock and sadness over the tragic incident and extended their thoughts to the deceased man's family, friends, and the wider project team.
As a result of the incident, work on the stadium has been suspended until further notice. The police and the Health and Safety Executive are present at the site.
