Mustang Showdown
【Summary】Two Ford Mustangs line up at a red light, but one driver decides to do a burnout instead of racing. The car spins out of control, crashes into a guard rail, while the other Mustang accelerates away and remains unharmed.
When two Ford Mustangs find themselves side by side at a traffic light, there is often a high likelihood that something will go wrong for one of them. Unfortunately, this was the case in a recent incident that was shared on Reddit. The video clip shows a black Mustang and a white Mustang lining up next to each other at a set of lights.
Initially, it seems like the driver of the black Mustang is preparing to race the white one. However, when the lights turn green, instead of racing, the driver decides to show off their driving skills by doing a burnout directly in front of traffic. It's unclear whether they were simply looking to have some fun or impress bystanders.
Things quickly start to go downhill as the driver manages to spin up the rear wheels of the Mustang throughout the intersection. As the speed increases, the rear of the car begins to slide to the left, possibly due to a gear shift or because the driver kept their foot on the accelerator.
Regardless of the cause, the car first slides to the left and then abruptly snaps to the right, sliding across a lane of the road and crashing into a guard rail. The impact is significant, with the front end of the car hitting the guard rail first, followed by the rear driver-side quarter section.
Meanwhile, the white Mustang quickly accelerates away from the lights, seemingly engaged in a race with a Dodge Challenger. Surprisingly, the driver of the white Mustang manages to keep the car under control, avoiding any mishaps.
