2025 Audi A6 E-Tron: Anticipated EV with Approximately 375 Horsepower

The Audi A6 e-tron is inching closer to production, as a prototype was recently spotted in Europe. The electric sedan is heavily disguised but features a fully enclosed grille and split lighting units similar to the upcoming Q6 e-tron. The car has angular intakes, a wide central opening with a honeycomb mesh insert, and streamlined bodywork with soft curves and flowing surfaces. It also has sizeable side skirts, flush-mounted door handles, and a rakish windscreen that flows into a sloping roof.

At the rear, the A6 e-tron has slender taillights, a trunk with an integrated spoiler, a sporty diffuser, and a stepped rear bumper. The interior has not been fully revealed yet, but it is speculated that it may have an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch infotainment system, similar to the Q6 e-tron. There may also be a 10.9-inch front passenger display with shutter technology to prevent distractions for the driver.

Both the A6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron will ride on the all-new PPE platform. The Q6 e-tron is expected to have a 100 kWh battery pack, dual-motor all-wheel drive system, and a range of approximately 373 miles in the WLTP cycle. For those seeking more performance, there will be an SQ6 e-tron with around 483 hp, and a high-performance RS6 e-tron may follow.

The A6 e-tron was originally planned for release this year, but it is now expected to debut in 2024.
