Neighbour's Porsche ruined after revenge for driving through garden
【Summary】A neighbour, known as Richard, repeatedly drove through his neighbour's garden to park his Porsche. Fed up with his behavior, the neighbour installed a metal fence to mark the property line and prevent further damage. When Richard saw the fence, he cursed and yelled, damaging his car in the process. The fence also ended up leaning towards the neighbour's property. Richard was given a ticket for damaging their property.
A social media user has gained praise for taking revenge on their "entitled" neighbor who would drive through their garden to park his cars. The neighbor, named Richard, would park his Porsche in the backyard and drive beyond the property line to do so. However, the frustrated neighbor decided to take action to stop this behavior.
Sharing the story on Reddit, the user @LnGass explained that their parents had lived in the same house for 50 years, with three different neighbors on the north side during that time. The first neighbor was a hermit named Elenore who passed away when the user was in high school. After that, Richard bought the property.
One day, the user returned home to find Richard cutting down their bushes, claiming they were encroaching on his property. This surprised the user, as their previous neighbor Elenore had never complained about it. The user and their father confronted Richard, explaining that the bushes belonged to them and they were unhappy about their removal. However, Richard disregarded their concerns and insisted he needed to remove the bushes to access his backyard.
When the user's father suggested that Richard could use the curb cut out on the other side of his house for easier access, Richard stormed off. The next day, the bushes were gone, and Richard began driving his cars through the user's property and into the backyard.
Fed up with Richard's behavior, the neighbors decided to install a metal fence to clearly mark the property line and prevent further damage to their lawn. They placed the fence posts 5 inches on their side of the property line, making it difficult for Richard to pass through.
Upon returning home and seeing the new fence, Richard became enraged and could be heard cursing and yelling for hours. He managed to get one of his cars out, but not without causing serious damage to the side of the vehicle due to the tight space.
Unfortunately for Richard, his reckless response not only damaged his car but also caused the newly installed fence to lean towards the neighbors' property. In addition, the neighbors called the police and reported the damage, resulting in Richard receiving a ticket.
Commenters on Reddit praised the neighbors for their actions, with many agreeing that Richard's behavior was unacceptable. Some even suggested taking legal action over the removal of the bushes.
Overall, this story highlights the frustrations that can arise from inconsiderate neighbors and the satisfaction that can come from standing up for one's rights.
