New name for former Russian factory
【Summary】The former Continental Russia plant has been renamed Cordiant Kaluga following its acquisition by S8 Capital. The new company will focus on tyre production in Kaluga, Russia.
Following the acquisition of Continental AG's assets in Russia, the tyre manufacturing facility in Kaluga has undergone a name change. The facility, previously known as LLC Continental Kaluga, will now be referred to as LLC Cordiant Kaluga. This change in legal name was implemented on 17 August 2023. As a result of the acquisition, LLC Cordiant Kaluga will be primarily responsible for tyre production at the former Continental plant, located approximately 100 miles southwest of Moscow.
