Pininfarina made a big impression at Monterey Car Week by unveiling a stunning new hypercar. This roofless beauty, named the B95, is priced at a staggering $4.78 million and only 10 will be made.
The B95 showcases Pininfarina's new PURA design philosophy, combining classic proportions with modern technology. The body is finished in a glossy Bronzo Superga paint with gold metallic flakes and features sleek, muscular lines. The open-top design is denoted by the "B" in its name, which stands for barchetta, meaning "little boat" in Italian.
One unique feature of the B95 is the absence of a windshield. Instead, it is equipped with electronically adjustable aero screens, inspired by vintage fighter planes. These clear polycarbonate panels can be raised or lowered by the driver, allowing for open-top driving while still maintaining comfort and aerodynamics.
Under the hood, the B95 shares the same powertrain as the Battista hyper GT. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under two seconds and reach a top speed of 186 mph. The EV is equipped with a 120 kWh lithium-ion battery that can be fast-charged from 20% to 80% capacity in just 25 minutes.
Inside the cabin, tan leather covers the sculptural dashboard and race seats, creating a luxurious and comfortable environment. The interior also features black aluminum accents to complement the exterior design.
What makes each of the 10 B95 examples truly special is the ability for collectors to customize their own car. From laser-engraved aluminum door plates to bespoke helmets, owners can personalize their B95 to their unique tastes.
