Skoda Enyaq Coupe vRS 2023 extended evaluation
【Summary】Summary: The Skoda Enyaq Coupe vRS 2023 long-term test reveals that while the vRS badge doesn't make the electric car exciting, it is still a great EV in terms of practicality and performance. The Enyaq Coupé stands out visually and offers everything one would want from a family crossover.
When Autocar adds a car to its long-term test fleet, they always outline the reasons why they want to run it. For the Skoda Enyaq vRS, their goal was to see if a vRS badge could make an electric car exciting. Unfortunately, their answer is no. Adding sporty performance features to an electric car does not result in the same blend of practicality, performance, and fun that Skoda's vRS line is known for.
However, the lack of excitement doesn't bother the reviewer. They don't care that the Enyaq vRS isn't a great performance EV because it is simply a great EV overall. Without the expectations created by the vRS badges, the Enyaq vRS still delivers everything one would want from a family crossover, whether it's electric or not.
In terms of appearance, the Enyaq vRS Coupe stands out with its unique design. It resembles a slightly oversized saloon rather than its SUV sibling.
