An unfortunate accident on the Delhi-Mumbai-Baroda Expressway near Gurugram resulted in the death of an oil tanker driver and his helper, while three occupants of a Rolls-Royce were injured. The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon when the tanker, which was driving on the wrong side, collided with the luxury car near Umri village under Nagina police station limits.

Upon collision, the limousine immediately caught fire, but fortunately, all five occupants were rescued in time by their relatives who were following closely in another car. The deceased individuals were identified as the tanker driver, Rampreet, and his helper, Kuldeep, both hailing from Uttar Pradesh.

The three injured occupants of the luxury car were identified as Divya and Tasbir from Chandigarh, and Vikas from Delhi. They are currently receiving treatment at Gurugram's Medanta Hospital.

Upon receiving information about the accident, the police quickly arrived at the scene. Assistant Sub-Inspector Ashok Kumar, the investigating officer, stated that an FIR will be registered once the statements of the injured individuals have been recorded. Additionally, the family members of the accident victims have been informed about the tragic incident.
