Tesla has recently introduced a new item for sale - a limited-edition set of beers available for $150. The set includes two 11-ounce bottles of Tesla CyberBeer, a "Helles Lager" with flavors of herb, spice, tea, and citrus. According to Tesla's website, orders for the beer will start shipping in late October.
Earlier this year, Tesla celebrated the opening of its Berlin Gigafactory by launching the $30 GigaBier. The factory faced various challenges but successfully delivered its first vehicles last year.
In 2020, Tesla also released a $250 bottle of branded tequila, which came in a lightning-bolt shaped bottle. This release came two years after Tesla CEO Elon Musk jokingly mentioned "Teslaquilla" in a tweet. Initially, Tesla had planned to name the tequila "Teslaquila," but it faced regulatory obstacles due to similarities with the term "tequila."
Insider reached out to Tesla for comment but did not receive an immediate response.
