2023 Honda Hornet 2.0 price revealed
【Summary】Honda has launched the 2023 Hornet 2.0 in India at a price of Rs 1.39 lakh. The bike features cosmetic updates, is BSVI OBD2 compliant, and comes in four color options. It retains its muscular design with new graphics, and has a 184.4cc single-cylinder engine with 17bhp and 16Nm of torque. The bike also has USD front forks, a monoshock, alloy wheels, disc brakes, single-channel ABS, and a fully digital instrument cluster. It competes with the TVS Apache RTR 180.
Honda has recently launched the 2023 Hornet 2.0 in India, offering customers a single variant and four different color options to choose from. The ex-showroom price for this new model is set at Rs 1.39 lakh. Along with cosmetic updates, the Hornet 2.0 is also BSVI OBD2 compliant.
When it comes to design, the new Hornet maintains its muscular appearance, including the headlight assembly and the X-shaped tail lamp. However, it now features new graphics to enhance its sportiness. The short exhaust and split seats further add to the overall sporty appeal of the Hornet.
Powering the 2023 Hornet 2.0 is a 184.4cc single-cylinder engine, capable of producing 17bhp and 16Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox and a slip and assist clutch. Honda claims that the new Hornet 2.0 offers a mileage of 40kmpl.
In terms of equipment, the Hornet 2.0 is equipped with USD front forks, a monoshock at the rear, alloy wheels, disc brakes at both ends with a single-channel ABS, and a fully digital instrument cluster with adjustable brightness. The motorcycle is fitted with 110 front and 140-section rear tires.
Competing in the same category, the Honda Hornet 2.0 faces direct competition from other motorcycles such as the TVS Apache RTR 180.
