2024 Nissan Sentra Gets Updated Styling, Price Increase

The 2024 Nissan Sentra lineup consists of the S, SV, and SR trim levels, priced at $20,630, $21,560, and $23,720 respectively. These prices do not include the $1,095 destination and handling charge and dealer fees. In comparison, the 2023 model started at $20,200 for the S, $21,420 for the SV, and $23,090 for the SR.

One noticeable change in the 2024 Sentra is the redesigned front face. It features a new interpretation of the brand's V-motion grille, along with new headlights. The SV trim comes with fresh 16-inch alloys, while the SR trim boasts 18-inch wheels, red logos, and dark chrome trim on the grille.

For the 2024 model year, the Sentra SR has been updated with a new interior design. The red trim, now leaning towards the orange side, brings it closer in style to the Altima SR and the Pro-X and Pro-4X versions of the Frontier. All versions of the car come equipped with a flat-bottom steering wheel, round air vents inspired by the Z sports car, and a selection of driver assistance features. The Safety Shield 360, which includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot warning, and more, is standard across all grades.

Under the hood, the 2024 Nissan Sentra retains the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine as its predecessor. Paired with a new Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT), it delivers 149 hp (151 ps/111) at 6,000 rpm and 146 lb-ft (198 Nm) of torque at 4,000 rpm. All variants are front-wheel drive, and the EPA-rated fuel consumption is 30 mpg (7.8 l/100 km) in the city, 40 mpg (5.9 l/100 km) on the highway, and 34 mpg (6.9 l/100 km) combined. The Sentra SR achieves slightly lower fuel efficiency with 30/38/33 mpg (7.8/6.2/7.1 l/100 km).

The entry-level Sentra S comes with 16-inch steel wheels, rear drums, halogen headlights, power windows and door locks, air conditioning, a 7-inch infotainment system with smartphone integration, a 4.2-inch digital instrument cluster, and a four-speaker audio system. The SV trim adds 16-inch alloys, disc brakes at both axles, improved cloth upholstery, an 8-inch infotainment system, and a six-speaker audio system.

The range-topping SR trim stands out with sporty exterior touches, including 18-inch alloys and LED lights at both ends. The side mirrors have a black look and integrated turn signals. Inside, the SR features orange stitching, two cup holders integrated into the rear armrest, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a dual-zone air conditioning system.
