2024 Porsche 911: The Ultimate Sports Car Experience

The current generation of Porsche 911, known as the '992', is considered one of the best in the car's history. Porsche is now working on making it even better. The 992-generation 911 was launched in 2019 and includes various models such as the convertible, coupe, Turbo, GTS, GT3, and GT3 RS. The revised version of the 911, expected to be called the 992.2, has been undergoing testing and recent spy shots indicate that a full reveal is imminent. The latest test car has shed its camouflage and features a revised bumper with vertical strakes in the air intakes. The rear of the car showcases a large wing similar to the 'SportDesign' package available for the standard 911, along with a new exhaust tip layout and bumper design. While significant powertrain revisions are unlikely, a new hybrid variant based on the Turbo model is expected to join the 992.2 lineup. This long-awaited electrified 911 could potentially surpass the power of the 911 Turbo S and become the most potent 911 available, possibly carrying the GT2 moniker.
