2024 Skoda Superb gets a modern makeover

The exterior design of the upcoming 2024 Skoda Superb has been revealed in a series of new sketches. These sketches showcase the sleek proportions of the model in both estate and saloon forms.

Set to be fully revealed on November 2nd at 6pm, the new Skoda Superb incorporates several styling cues from the firm's Modern Solid design language. This includes sharper headlights, improved headroom, and enhanced practicality.

Earlier this year, Skoda unveiled the interior of the Superb, which will undergo a complete overhaul. The popular model will feature customisable rotary controllers, a new infotainment system, and the use of more sustainable materials.

Buyers will likely appreciate the Superb's retention of rotary dials. Positioned below the 13.0in infotainment touchscreen, these dials come with a 32mm digital display and can be ergonomically pushed. The two outer dials can control seat heating and interior temperature, while the center dial adjusts the infotainment volume, fan speed, air conditioning, driving modes, and the zoom of the sat-nav.

The Superb also boasts additional features such as four USB-C ports, massage seats, and four-way adjustable lumbar support. The gear selector has been moved to the steering column for added convenience.

Later this year, the fully revealed Superb will undergo a radical visual and technology revamp. It is expected to be available for sale towards the end of 2023, offering a range of petrol, diesel, and electrified hybrid options.

Skoda has emphasized the importance of its ICE models during its transition to becoming an all-electric car maker. These models meet the needs of customers as different markets adopt e-mobility at varying speeds.

In addition to the Superb, Skoda will also introduce refreshed versions of the Octavia, Kamiq, and Scala models by 2026. Furthermore, a second-generation Skoda Kodiaq is also in the works.
