Aluminum Car Takes 2,500 Hours To Complete
【Summary】Runge Cars has created a hand-made aluminum car, the Runge RS, with a Porsche 718 RSK silhouette. It took 2,500 hours to complete and features a tube frame chassis and a design inspired by late '50s race cars. The all-aluminum body adds to its unique appeal.
Runge Cars is a manufacturer known for producing exceptional vehicles, and the Runge RS is no exception. Unlike the powerful American muscle cars we often see, the Runge RS is a smaller and more subdued car. One of its standout features is its all-aluminum handmade body, which bears a resemblance to the sleek and shiny Dodge Viper, also crafted by Chris Runge, the owner of the company.
The Runge RS is built on a tube frame chassis with a wheelbase of 83 inches. Its design is inspired by late '50s race cars, and Chris dedicated an impressive 2,500 hours to its construction. The end result is a stunning sports car that captures the essence of the classic Porsche 718 race car, which first made its appearance at the renowned 1957 24 Hours of Le Mans.
