Audi's Electric RS6 Sedan Arriving Earlier Than Expected
【Summary】Audi's all-electric RS6 sedan is set to arrive in the UK in 2025, with a potential release in the US two years later. The sedan hasn't been available in this body style for 12 years and is rumored to have up to 600 horsepower, with the possibility of reaching 800 hp.
New details have emerged about the highly anticipated Audi RS6 e-tron sedan. According to Autocar, the performance electric sedan is expected to arrive in the UK in 2025. This information aligns closely with previous reports from CarBuzz, which suggested that the EV sports sedan would reach the UK in 2024. Typically, the UK and other European markets receive these vehicles first, so it wouldn't be surprising if the RS6 e-tron makes its way to America two years later.
The RS6 e-tron will mark the return of the sedan body style for the model after a 12-year absence. The last time the RS6 was available as a sedan was in the C6/4F generation, which was discontinued more than a decade ago. Prior to that, the RS6 was known for its four-door executive car design from 2002 to 2004.
According to the latest report, the RS6 e-tron is rumored to deliver an impressive power output of up to 600 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. However, earlier claims have suggested that the electric sedan could potentially reach up to 800 hp, making it an even more formidable performance vehicle.
