The United States is made up of 50 states, including Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

In addition to the states, there are also several other territories and regions that are part of the United States. These include Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, the Northern Mariana Islands, the Marshall Islands, American Samoa, the Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, and Palau.

Furthermore, there are also three major military regions within the United States. These are the Armed Forces Americas, the Armed Forces Pacific, and the Armed Forces Europe.

Outside of the United States, there are also several Canadian provinces that share borders with the US. These include Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan, and the Yukon Territory.

Lastly, there is also a postal code system in both the United States and Canada. These codes are used to help organize and deliver mail to specific regions and addresses.
