Vinfast, a Vietnamese automaker, has claimed that its upcoming three-row electric SUV, the VF9, will have an impressive range of 330 miles according to the EPA cycle. This puts it ahead of some other three-row models like the Kia EV9. However, with a starting price of $83,000, the VF9 may face limited appeal compared to established premium brands.

In California, the state has announced its plans to phase out its current EV incentive program and replace it with a new program called Clean Cars 4 All. This new program will focus on incentivizing low-income drivers to replace their older, higher-polluting vehicles with electric ones.

Mercedes-Benz is set to introduce a series of tech and styling improvements to its compact yet spacious SUV, the EQB EV, in 2024. These upgrades will make the vehicle even more distinctive in the market and include features such as Plug & Charge compatibility, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a new infotainment system.

A recent study looking into data from the collision repair industry has found that repairing EVs after a collision remains more expensive compared to gasoline models. However, when Tesla is excluded from the calculation, the numbers improve. It is likely that the expensive battery packs of EVs contribute to the higher repair costs.
