Malaysia's car production saw a significant increase in July, with a total of 66,862 units being produced. This marks a 15.18% rise from the previous month's production of 58,051 units in June. The latest data released by the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) also shows a year-on-year increase of 28.43% compared to the 52,061 units produced in July last year.

Looking at the overall industry performance, the total car production for the period from January to July grew by 16.06%, reaching 429,397 units. This is a notable increase from the 369,994 units produced during the same period a year ago. These figures indicate a positive trend in Malaysia's automotive sector.
