Casio Unveils Stylish Edifice Watch with Honda Type R Inspiration
【Summary】Casio has unveiled the Edifice Type R Edition watch, inspired by the Honda Type R. Made of carbon fiber-reinforced resin, it is durable and water-resistant. It has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and LED lights for nighttime visibility. The watch uses Tough Solar Charging, eliminating the need for batteries, and can be linked to a smartphone app for automatic time adjustment and other functions. It can store 38 time zones and keep track of daylight savings.
The Edifice Type R Edition's case is constructed entirely of carbon fiber-reinforced resin, ensuring durability and allowing users to take it anywhere. Additionally, it boasts a water resistance of up to 10 bar (100 meters) and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal for added toughness.
For those concerned about battery life, this watch eliminates the need for batteries with its Tough Solar Charging system. This innovative technology provides the watch with power for up to seven months, even without exposure to light.
Operating and adjusting the watch is a breeze thanks to its compatibility with a smartphone app. Users can easily link the watch to the app for automatic time adjustment, as well as setting up alarms and world time functions. The watch can store 38 time zones, each with a city name display, and even keeps track of daylight savings.
