Footage of a Ford Falcon ute driver vandalizing a Tesla Model 3 in a car park in Wollongong, NSW, has gone viral on social media platform Twitter, now known as X. The victim, Naomi Testa, has attributed the unprovoked act of vandalism to the "insane" hatred towards electric cars.
Testa discovered a short scratch next to the handle on the front passenger-side door of her Model 3 upon returning to the car park. Expressing her frustration, she stated, "[H]ad my Model 3 keyed a few days ago and it just goes to show you someone's true morals and ethics when they think they are not being watched. You don't mess with someone else's stuff."
After sharing the video of the incident, Testa claims to have been contacted by an individual who believes they can identify the vandal. She has since passed this information onto the NSW Police.
