Chairman Lawrence Stroll of luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin has further increased his stake in the company by 3.27%. Through his investment vehicle, the Yew Tree Consortium, Stroll has purchased an additional 26 million shares, bringing his total share capital to 26.23%.

Prior to this increase, Stroll was already the largest shareholder of Aston Martin, followed by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, Geely, and Mercedes Benz.

Speaking on behalf of the Yew Tree Consortium, Lawrence Stroll expressed confidence and belief in the future of Aston Martin. He stated, "This additional investment demonstrates the Yew Tree Consortium's continuing confidence and belief in the future of Aston Martin. The Company has delivered a major turnaround since the Yew Tree Consortium's initial investment three years ago."

Stroll further emphasized the transformation of Aston Martin into an ultra-luxury brand with a portfolio of highly desirable, performance-driven cars. He stated, "We have rebuilt this iconic company, transforming it into an ultra-luxury brand, with a portfolio of highly desirable, performance-driven cars. This increased investment demonstrates our continuing, long-term commitment to the Company, our conviction for the future, and the shareholder value the Company will deliver."
