Cybertruck Production Advances with Western USA Appearance

Tesla's highly anticipated Cybertruck is making progress towards production, as evidenced by recent photos. A convoy of at least nine trucks has been spotted traveling from Texas to California over the past few days, with various individuals capturing images of the distinctive electric vehicles along the way.

According to Elon Musk, production of the Cybertruck is slated to begin later this year, followed by a ramp-up to mass production in 2024. Tesla has reaffirmed these timelines, and it appears that progress is being made. Following several production-related events earlier this year, nine Cybertrucks have now arrived at Tesla's Fremont plant.

The trucks arrived at the plant on three car haulers, with each hauler carrying three trucks. These Cybertrucks closely resemble the previously seen examples, with most featuring a set of 7/14-spoke black wheels. However, at least one truck retains the wheel covers from the original concept.

During their journey from Texas to California, the trucks were documented by various individuals on platforms such as Reddit and Twitter. The Buttonwillow chapter of the California Highway Patrol also shared photos of the trucks on Interstate 5. While the purpose of these trucks' presence at the Fremont plant remains unknown, it is possible that they are involved in various activities related to the production of Tesla's Model S, Model 3, and Model Y, which are manufactured at the facility. Additionally, Tesla's design headquarters in Palo Alto is located nearby.

It is important to note that the exact stage of development represented by these trucks is uncertain. They could be release candidates, early prototypes, or late pre-production models. Nevertheless, their arrival at the Fremont plant indicates that Tesla is steadily progressing towards production. Whether or not customers will receive their Cybertrucks by the end of the year remains to be seen.
