Dodge Magnum SRT-8 Auction

The Dodge Magnum, a station wagon based on the Chrysler LX platform, was introduced in 2005. It shared many similarities with its four-door counterpart, the Charger, and offered multiple engine options and rear-wheel drive. In 2006, Dodge expanded the lineup with the high-performance SRT-8 version.

The Dodge Magnum SRT-8 featured several upgrades to set it apart from the rest of the family. It had revised front and rear fascias, larger Brembo brakes, a firmer suspension for improved cornering, and a powerful 6.1-liter V8 engine producing 425 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. With a five-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, it could reach 60 mph in under 5 seconds and complete the quarter-mile sprint in around 13 seconds.

The rarity of the Dodge Magnum SRT-8 makes it highly sought after, and it tends to change hands quickly when available for sale. A 2008 model of the Magnum SRT-8 is set to be auctioned at the Mecum auction in Glendale, Arizona, between March 5 and 9, 2024. The vehicle, painted in red with a gray interior, is an Arizona car in the hot SRT-8 specification. Unfortunately, there is only one image available, leaving potential buyers to wonder about the mileage and other details.
