The Ferrari 400 Superamerica Aerodinamico Series II is a true gem, being the last of the 18 LWB models ever produced and one of only 14 with covered headlights. Originally manufactured in 1964, it boasted an elegant Grigio Argento over Nero VM 8500 Connolly color combination, along with red carpets. The car is in impeccable condition and would undoubtedly be a standout addition to any collector's lineup. It was initially sold to FIN-EUR Finanziaria Commerciale Europea S.p.A., a company based in Rome, Italy.
This particular Ferrari Superamerica, available through Schaltkulisse, retains its original engine and gearbox, making it a fully matching numbers vehicle. Over the course of five decades, it has been exceptionally well-maintained by Ralli Dimitrius. To accomplish this, the 400 spent several months at Auto Toni in Maranello, undergoing mechanical and cosmetic updates. It now proudly showcases the stunning shade of Rosso Cina.
The Superamerica has made appearances at prestigious events such as the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este and has obtained the Ferrari Classiche Certification. Now, it is searching for new owners who can truly appreciate its extraordinary and captivating history. The car's history is well-documented, with numerous pictures showcasing the restoration works carried out in the US, as well as a collection of invoices, including those from the recent works at Toni Auto in Maranello.
